Raj Manek is currently Vice President of Vesuki Inc, based in Southern California. He has over 20 years experience as an executive with a rich history of bringing unique solutions to his varied portfolio of aviation clients around the world, especially within sub-Saharan Africa.

Growing up in Nairobi, Kenya, Mr. Manek inculcated and refined an entrepreneurial mindset that was required to both navigate and succeed in an environment fraught with unique challenges steeped in long-held traditions, language barriers and a culture unique to Africa. He is fluent in Swahili and other local dialects, continues to travel to East Africa several times a year to manage his investments and provide cutting edge solutions to the aviation and other sectors that he has vested interests in. 

Mr. Manek holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Management from the California State University, Fullerton. He is the recipient of several awards for his numerous academic achievements including two from the Small Business Administration. He serves on the advisory board for the Center of Entrepreneurship at his alma mater.  He also holds an Executive MBA degree from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. 

Mr. Manek brings a unique blend of hands-on, deep and vital experience on sub-Saharan Africa, refined by a US education that allows him to bridge the gap required to take a vision, an idea, a concept and turning it into a sustainable and successful business in a very promising emerging market.
