David J. Mayer is currently a principal at Prince Capital Partners (“PCP”) which is a single family office based in Florida.  At PCP Mr. Mayer has direct responsibility for investments being made in private credit situations, private equity funds, venture capital funds, real estate and co-investment opportunities.  Through his role at PCP Mr. Mayer serves on a number of boards as well as credit committees.  In addition to this Mr. Mayer spends a significant amount on a liquid strategy investment committee where consideration is given to macro themes that influence investment strategies, manager selection and asset allocation.  Mr. Mayer brings to PCP over 25 years of experience in portfolio management.  Prior to his career in portfolio management Mr. Mayer was an investment banker at Solomon Smith Barney.

Mr. Mayer graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics.  Mr. Mayer also has a wider array of philanthropic interests having recently founded Futbol x Mi Pais (“FxMP”) in Costa Rica.  FxMP is a nonprofit organization whose objective is to use sports for development as a tool to empower children in Costa Rica to build a better future for themselves and their communities.
